Architonic Digital Studio

Founding of a Digital Content Studio for computer generated product imagery. Clients: Design Within Reach, Kvadrat, Magis, Hästens, NORR11, Zeitraum, NewWorks, Gubi, more

Architonic is the worlds' biggest search engine for premium interior design brands. Being the main resource for interior designers, specifiers and architects, they function as a powerful marketing platform for furniture- and interior design brands.



A characteristic of high-end brands is the versatility of their product: it comes in many sizes, colours, fabrics, materials. However, they usually only present one version, in one colour, online. They were in need of ways to scale product photography to show the full width- and depth of their collection.



Through a joint venture with a Computer-Generated-Imagery studio in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, I established Architonic Digital Studio. This studio generated 3D models of our clients products, and then rendered photo-realistic content (video's, product shots, mood imagery, 360 degree images/spinners).



I established the new service. Set-up the sales strategy, hired the team and brought the service to market. Clients eventually included some of the worlds' largest design brands, like: Design Within Reach, Kvadrat, Magis, Burri, Hästens, NORR11, Pfister, Zeitraum, NewWorks, Burri






The Studio was praised for its unparalleled photo-realism, especially when it came to presenting fabrics. The service helped marketing teams cut their photography budgets and time-spent in half.
